Return to Corfu!!
CORFU What a week it was last week- returning to that beautiful green island, my home for the past eight years. I arrived in time to see the last of the fireflies, the last snow on the Albanian mountains, and the last pink Judas trees dotted across the green horizons. It was magical to have a week to sing, to record many beautiful Leonard Cohen songs, to play several concerts, to connect with incredible musicians I love dearly- and then, in between the work, to catch up with

Real Moments & Sanctuary
REAL MOMENTS For once I am going to rein it in and keep this brief… but a lot has been landing. The past few weeks I’ve been alongside a few friends and clients who are grieving, and I keep noticing how paradoxically nourishing it is to be there in these moments. To brush up against the depth, beauty and honesty of it. To witness their courage as they sit with the un-sit-able. It’s been a reminder of what a genuine gift it is when we really let each other in. When the guard d

A Big Week...
Last week was a blur of work and home life- a week of beauty, sensitivity, care, and depth. It was rewarding, but once again- full to the brim. So as I turn even more towards my slowing-down point of the month, I can feel the cost of it. That the old old cyclical way of things is calling me home- the wave crashing on the shore and then drawing back, the leaves dropping to fertilise the ground for the seeds of spring. And so I move from a very slow morning (thank you Ben) in

A Weekend Off
Hello there ~ How are you? I write to you today with the winds of change blowing strongly outside my window. A WEEKEND OFF Last weekend was a first for Ben and me: two whole nights off from the kids. (~Thanks G'ma and Matt!) For a long time this was unimaginable. There was neither the ability to leave the babies (and keep my heart intact), the money, the time, nor the local family support or childcare to even consider such a break. It felt luxurious and very new to put dow

Spring Time Sweetness...
Hello there~ How are you? I write to you today feeling full of joy and spaciousness. SPRING TIME The sun is warm today, and I write this after a quiet practice by the pond. I lay on my coat in a T-shirt, looking up at the sky. It felt like a precious gift in what has been a diverse and full week. It’s my first English spring in eight years. I’d forgotten how sudden it can be. One minute everything feels half asleep, and the next moment it all begins to wake. I’d got used

Meanwhile In Real Life...
Hey there ~ How are you? It's been a busy half term week for me and my little tribe. There has been lovely time with Granny- museums, nature walks and all the family activities... but also a few big creative changes I'm very happy to share with you here. SIMPLICITY, CLARITY & CREATIVITY A few weeks ago I wrote that something creative was calling, though I didn’t yet know what. That space didn’t stay empty for long. The universe rushed in — and it’s been a joyful, juicy proc

Resting...
How are you? It's been a lovely week of settling into my new home- And Enjoying that Imbolc feeling of the spring gently starting to call us out of the depths of winter. I write a little early this week due to various family logistics :) RESTED I write this little update fresh from… don’t laugh… a spa day. Any of you reading this for a while will know how unusual that sort of thing is for me to say—but there we are, every dog has its day. And this particular day, was that

We Are In!
So if the previous week brought a message of waiting —this one brings a message of gratitude . After months of temporary housing, and well over a year of hard graft and instability, we have finally landed. Woooo hooooo! WE ARE IN! At long last, we’ve purchased our real home here in the community and now have our own bedroom, a John-Malkovich-inspired (temporary!) kids’ room, a lovely living room, a dining room, and a bathroom. Half of the house still needs renovation, but by

Season of moving...
Life, I am told moves in seasons, Throughout the incredible journey each of us takes there are times of activity, times of rest, times of flexibility, times of structure. This week has been busy on the surface (lots of coaching, mediation tutoring and lots of kid time)... But behind all this activity the real flavour has been a very particular season- the season of waiting , It's been a week of holding my breath, of cultivating patience, of leaning in to trust,

~ The Big Move ~
So… to fill you in on my winding path through life and love, here’s where I’m at: After eight magical years in Corfu, Ben and I decided it was time to return to the UK. Many of you have asked—Why did we move? Where are we now? How are we doing?—and while the full story is wonderfully messy, I’ll share a glimpse. We’re now living in an Intentional Community in the south of England. A sprawling stately home, a thriving farm, and a vibrant circle of people growing food, raising
